I wouldn’t recommend it. Our room, 217, smelled horribly of drains in the bathroom and was freezing cold. It took three hours to warm up, and the room also felt damp and humid. The toilet paper was so thin it disintegrated, so we went through three rolls in two days. At breakfast the only vegan choices were fruit and soya milk. There was no parking near the hotel for unloading luggage, so we had to drag our bags from the lot down the road and across the street.

The rooms are cozy and very clean, though quite small. You’re right by the sea and close to all the essential shops and restaurants. Breakfast was really tasty.

We had a lovely time at this cute B&B. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we were upgraded to a beautiful sea-facing room with a balcony. Breakfast was plentiful, with bread, pastries, yogurt, fruit, cereal, cheese, meat, boiled eggs, juice, coffee and tea. The property was very clean, and the lush, gorgeous garden has seating facing the sea. We parked on the street out front. I’d gladly recommend it as a base for exploring Sagres.

The views were hard to fault. The room was nice, but the staff came across as rude and not very willing to help, which wasn’t pleasant.

The gardens were lovely, and there’s a path from them straight to the beach. Our room had a comfortable bed and a large balcony, where we enjoyed spectacular views and a breathtaking sunset. The staff only responded when I asked questions, though. They seemed cold and unprofessional.
