Parking in the courtyard was convenient, and the location is handy for shops and other amenities. The property looks charming from outside, especially with its lovely garden. Inside, though, the rooms feel quite dated, with very rustic decor. In the bathroom there wasn't much room for towels, and the water pressure and toilet flush both had problems. The shared kitchen was available, but its cleanliness left something to be desired, so I wouldn't count on high hygiene standards there. Breakfast was very basic, but enough to get through the morning. Considering the condition of the rooms and the amenities, we felt the accommodation was a bit overpriced.

The garden is beautiful, the staff are kind, and the hotel itself is nice. Breakfast was simple but fine. We stayed several nights in a row, and the room wasn't cleaned between nights. Clean towels and toilet paper weren't left for us either, we had to ask. Apart from that, it's a good hotel.

The nights were completely quiet, and I loved having such a peaceful stay. The room was spacious, the garden beautiful, and the staff nice. There are amenities nearby, with lovely walks and breathtaking views close at hand. We also stayed in Calheta and Funchal, but I liked this place the most.

The house itself is beautiful, with a nice garden and a sea view. The bathroom, though, is very old, and the beds were really hard and uncomfortable. We could hear everything from the neighboring rooms, so it wasn't a good place to relax or sleep in. Breakfast could have been better quality too.

The people were very nice, but we only saw them when we arrived, even though we stayed for a couple of days. The room was fine and the location good, but breakfast was bad. It gave me the feeling of staying in a hostel.
