The “comandante” himself welcomed us, and we were treated like royalty. It felt like home. If you love nature, this is the spot: a green valley with a creek, lots of well-kept plants, ducks, and a pond with koi. The place is rustic but beautiful, filled with a very varied collection of objects chosen by the "comandante ".“

Carlos has made a paradise in a lush valley at the end of the road. All day, the only sound is the creek. It’s one of the most majestic, welcoming, and well cared for places I’ve ever stayed.

We’d only been here 25 minutes and already canceled the hotel we were meant to stay at next, just to add another night. Pretty spontaneous, sure, but sometimes you should just let the charm work on you :)

It’s a very nice remote spot. If you’re driving, be prepared for tight, steep parking with very little room to turn around.
