The photos don't show what the place is really like. The room smelled strongly of a harsh cleaning product, and within five minutes I was getting a headache. We lasted 20 minutes before booking somewhere else for the night.

We found the place on Booking and decided to try it out as a couple. The breakfast was especially good, and the hosts were far more hospitable than we expected. The conditions were great too. It's hard to find somewhere that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. We'll definitely do it again.

Luc and Helena made us feel at home straight away when we arrived at the B&B, with such a warm welcome. We stayed one night and would gladly have stayed longer. The room was very spacious, with a separate bathroom with a shower and toilet, a huge comfortable bed, 1m80 or even wider, and its own terrace for enjoying the sun. The second B was just as good: a generous, delicious breakfast, with almost everything homemade, including yoghurt, orange juice, fruit salad, jam, and a little egg dish. Add their helpful tips for things to do nearby, and it's an ideal base for Santarem and the surrounding area. Thanks for the lovely experience, Luc and Helena!

The saltwater pool was wonderful on a hot day, and the bar right by it was handy too. The property is very peaceful, surrounded by fruit trees, and the rooms are lovely, with a bathroom, TV, and AC. Breakfast felt like a hotel breakfast, but with products from the region and the property itself. Diego and Pelé gave us such a warm welcome and made us feel comfortable. We loved our two nights and will come back for more. Such lovely people. Thank you, M. & A.
