The village of Sao Bras is just five minutes from the B&B, with some nice, inexpensive places to eat dinner. The setting itself is very quiet, and you can tell regulars appreciate it, since they return year after year. Kathleen and her husband made us feel welcome and took time to point out good spots around Sao Bras before explaining the few house rules. We also enjoyed the pool, which gets sun from 11h to 19h in summer, and the breakfast had a good mix with a little something for everyone. Such a nice surprise.

We spent two nights at Ben Bom and had two terrific breakfasts. The place is tucked away in a quiet rural area, though the nearest charming little town is only a few minutes away. Our room was generous in size, the bed was comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. We also had a lie by the pool and a refreshing dip. The hosts and staff were so friendly. A lovely stay for me and my partner.

A very peaceful, lovely setting, and a great base for seeing the Algarve. The breakfast was delicious and generous, with local produce and a few Flemish touches. This beautiful B&B is run with real care by a friendly, thoughtful Flemish couple who always seem to be busy.

Breakfast was the real highlight. There was so much choice that Kathleen, the hostess, made it hard to settle on what to have each morning. The property is peaceful, with a tidy garden, a nice pool and sunbeds, plus a ping-pong table for anyone feeling sporty. Indoors, there’s a fitness room, snooker table, TV lounge, bar, and an upstairs sitting area with all kinds of reading material. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well equipped for a comfortable stay. Another top accommodation for our list.

We had a great time and will be back. There’s always beer available, and the owners are warm and welcoming. The hotel is gorgeous, with several terraces, a snooker table, and even a little library. Our room was just right, the beds were high quality, the shower was great, and the whole place was wonderfully quiet. Fantastic service. I'd give it six stars if that were an option... 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
