The grounds are beautifully cared for, with plenty of quiet places to settle in, whether by the pool, the pond, or in the Yoga hall. The rooms are lovingly furnished, and the whole place feels peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast was the highlight, with fresh, different dishes each day. Thank you, Laura, and everyone on the team for being so warm. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place.

Casa Terra - Altanure was a hidden gem in South Portugal. I stayed for one night and loved the idea behind it, luxurious simplicity with real comfort. So much seemed carefully considered, from the building materials, which I believe included rammed earth, to the heating. The owners and staff were also very kind. It was exceptionally peaceful, comfortable, and in harmony with nature. I've never stayed somewhere this comfortable that had so little impact on its surroundings. I can't recommend it enough.
