Magoito Sea View Apartment

The location is nice and within walking distance of the beach, and the living room is quite large. The floor was free of dust and sand, and the hand soap smelled really nice. Beyond that, the apartment was well below average, humid and cold. There was a strong damp-basement smell. In November, the place was very cold, especially the floor. The small heater barely changed the living room temperature and couldn’t warm even the small bedroom enough. The towels were heavily used, one with holes from wear, and in the cold, damp conditions they sometimes took over 24 hours to dry. There was quite a lot of black mould in the bathroom, as shown in the photos. The bed had three different covers, all needed in November, but they were different sizes and kept getting tangled, making sleep unpleasant. During heavy rain, the single-pane windows fogged on the inside so badly it was impossible to see out. Hot water came with extremely low shower pressure, and neither bathroom door could be closed. Sound carried easily from the neighbor. When they dropped some keys, I could tell roughly how many were on the bundle, and I could clearly hear what music they were playing. We connected a laptop to the TV, but text was hard to read at its native resolution. On Netflix, people who usually had brown hair appeared to have black hair on that TV.

A real treat to stay with Jorge and his family again. The house is spacious, convenient, and well equipped, with two bedrooms, a large living room, and two bathrooms. Parking right in front was no problem, and the beach is a five-minute walk away. Best of all, when you open your eyes, the first thing you see is the ocean below. Muito obrigado e até a próxima.
