Miradouro Da Papalva Guest House Inn

Helen clearly cared about making our stay a good one. She helped us choose where to go based on the weather, and the restaurants she suggested were excellent. Breakfast brought something different each day, such as fresh banana bread, fruit salad, or pancakes, with lots of variety. We had a spectacular ocean view from our spacious, well-organized room, which was cleaned daily. There was a fridge and electric heater in the room, and we could use the outdoor kitchen. The bathtub doubles as a jacuzzi, a nice way to warm up if you visit out of season. We had a very nice stay and would absolutely recommend it.

The hosts were so kind. When we had to leave early for a hike, they even agreed to put together breakfast for us the night before. They checked for allergies and had vegan alternatives, which is rare, and we also got a surprise slice of całe during our stay. It really felt like home. The views were wonderful, the rooms were to a very good standard, and everything felt just perfect.

We stayed in the Nathan suite at Miradouro da Papalva, and the room was lovely. The mattress was comfortable, the pillows were amazing, and the bathroom was enormous, it used to be a bedroom before the renovation. Helena was one of the sweetest hosts and kept finding ways to help us on our trip. She knows the island and what to see and do, and knows people all over the place who are just a call away. Since we were on our honeymoon, she surprised us with such a thoughtful, romantic welcome decoration in the room. It made an already relaxing stay even smoother. Breakfast was fantastic too.

The patio breakfast was great, and our bed was really comfortable. We felt very welcome, and the room was perfect, with a beautiful view over the Atlantic Ocean. Thanks to Helen and Vera for being so hospitable. We had a wonderful stay and can highly recommend Miradouro do Papalva and the island of Pico.
