We had a private room, which made the place feel more like a hotel than a hostel. It was clean, well located and had a view to kill for. Tanya, the owner and hostess, is a real gem, sweet, friendly and helpful. Sata Airlines canceled our flights two days in a row, and Tanya was very accommodating. The price was very reasonable too. Loved our stay and highly recommend it!

Tania made us feel welcome, showed us around properly, and gave us lots of travel tips and help whenever we needed it. The kitchen was really well equipped, and all the shared areas and rooms were clean and tidy. I usually don't go for hostels, but if they were all run like this, I'd happily stay in one each time I travel. Our room had a balcony with a view of Mt. Pico, which I absolutely loved. I'd gladly stay here again when I return to Sao Jorge!
