We had a lovely pool with lounge beds, and there was a restaurant nearby. You could rent a scooter right at the property too. The owners were friendly, the place was very clean, and the ocean view was beautiful. Breakfast was excellent, with homemade cookies and coffee available around the clock. At night we could hear the Cagarros birds singing, “au au au eh eh eh.” We had no Wi-Fi during our three-day stay because of a problem with the provider.

A great base for exploring Sao Jorge. The little houses are dotted around a lovely garden, and breakfast is served under the bushes. It's about a 10-minute drive from the airport. The place was quiet, clean, and cosy.

The views were incredible, and breakfast was a really nice touch. My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay, easily the best hotel of our trip across four islands. The rooms were fantastic, and the owners were extremely helpful. Staff seemed to anticipate what we needed, and they even let us keep our room late while we waited for the ferry. We'd recommend it 100%.

The shower flooded, the room lighting was too dark, and we didn't get a very warm welcome. Still, it's a beautiful place with a direct view of mount Pico and a calm, oasis-like feel. The rooms are spacious and modern, with an upmarket design and a handy little kitchen area. Breakfast was varied and very tasty, and free coffee, tea, and cake were available. The hosts were helpful, and the husband speaks very good English, which we noticed was rare around the archipelago and on the island.
