Casa da Praia

The staff were so rude when we asked to cut our five-night stay down to one because we couldn’t sleep with the traffic noise. Airbnb offered that option, but they refused, so we had to call Airbnb to sort it out. It felt like they preferred the money over having happy guests. At full capacity, around 16 people, everyone shares one bathroom and shower. There are rooms with private bathrooms, but you can still end up waiting in long queues at busy times, and the kitchen gets crowded too. Cars go by constantly on the nearby road, even at night, making it impossible to sleep. Then the morning light comes straight in because there are no blackout curtains. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. One star only because that’s the minimum. We wouldn’t recommend Casa da Praia to anyone. Sometimes cheap ends up expensive.

The beach is only a few minutes away on foot. We found the rooms clean and the whole place in good condition, especially for such a good price.

You can hear the sea from the bedroom window, and it’s a nice place to stay. There’s just one bathroom in the house.

Everything was clean, and the location was a real plus. The beach, a restaurant and a bus stop are all nearby.
