Casas Da Lupa

Casas da Lupa is just beyond the main town, so it’s peaceful and a little remote. The accommodation feels thoughtfully put together, with sensible touches throughout. Maria was a lovely host who went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. The complimentary breakfast spread was beautiful. We’d love to return.

We only stayed one night, but it was memorable and felt like home. The staff were lovely, and both the living and dining room and the garden felt perfectly put together. Maria welcomed us with the smell of fresh banana cake and granola. The homemade breakfast was especially generous and hard to beat.

Out in the countryside near Zambujeira do Mar, with the sea still close, this is a wonderfully peaceful spot. The hostess was so helpful and happy to take care of anything. The master suites are comfortable, well designed and good value, with a private patio, plunge pool and terrace for sunset views. Guests can use bikes too. Breakfast is generous, with plenty of local and homemade produce.

We were more pleasantly surprised than we expected. There’s so much care in the way guests are looked after, and the rooms are tasteful, modern and a little sexy. The view is lovely, the breakfast and thoughtful extras were fantastic, and the house wine was very good. What else do you need? Highly recommend.
