I bought these two items at the shop yesterday. The couple who served me said they were made of black clay and could be used for cooking. They’re painted clay, though, and the paint comes off. They obviously aren’t suitable for cooking. The shop is passing off inferior goods to tourists, who may be long gone before they realize they’ve been misled. I’m 300 km away, so going back to complain is difficult. I’m warning people because the mountains are full of scammers targeting tourists, and this place is one of them. I don’t recommend it, and advise you to be careful.

There’s a shop here with regional goods like Serra cheese, ham, other treats, and clothes themed around the area. The place is welcoming, the people are friendly, and the price was within what I’d expect. We had a good weekend, and it seems like a nice option for a short break. I’d definitely recommend it.

We sat outside in the sunshine, which made for a really pleasant visit. We ordered a ham and cheese sandwich with two glasses of wine, and it was delicious. The man we think owns the place was very attentive and polite to us.
