We’d planned to stay just one night, but liked the experience enough to come back for another. The rooms and restaurant were great, and the restaurant was good quality at a fairly low price. The staff were great too. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Dinner at the restaurant was delicious, and breakfast the next morning was very good. There was a lot to choose from, including eggs, cheese, bacon, ham, pastries, croissants, cereal, yogurt, juice, and coffee. Our room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed. The staff were welcoming, especially our waiter. Amazing hotel!

We had a spacious, modern room, and the hotel answered our email about rooms with showers instead of baths helpfully. My in-laws unexpectedly received a free upgrade to an adapted room with a walk-in shower, which made things easier for them. The staff were helpful throughout, even going out to get gluten-free bread for my wife’s breakfast the next morning. Dinner was tasty, the restaurant staff were very good, and breakfast had a mix of hot and cold choices. The spa was open, and at the time you had to book your slot while there. We had the pool, sauna, and Turkish bath to ourselves for 45 minutes, which felt like enough. It was a good stay, and we’d return to explore more of the beautiful Serra da Estrela.

The food was fantastic, super tasty, and the menu had a wide range of good vegetarian dishes, which is kind of rare in Portugal. The rooms were clean, new, well designed, and had a comfortable bed. Everyone on staff was friendly and the hospitality was great. It’s a lovely place to relax, enjoy the view, eat and drink well at reasonable prices, and meet very nice people. Definitely worth visiting, even if it means taking a detour to Serra da Estrela.
