Hotel Bracara Augusta

You can't beat the location, right in the city center on a pedestrian stretch of the avenue. We were there in August, peak tourist season, but the hotel was still fairly quiet. The room was OK, with two single beds instead of a double and a small TV. The air conditioning wasn't great, but it managed overnight even with temperatures close to 40 degrees Celsius outside. The shower and breakfast were both OK, though breakfast didn't quite feel like four-star quality. To me, the hotel is closer to a two-star place than a four-star one. For a better room and more comfort, I'd look elsewhere.

There's a little park out front, and the location is about as central as it gets. The staff were really helpful, and my room was clean and cozy. Breakfast was simple but tasty, especially the coffee. I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and charming this small hotel was, and glad I found it :)

I spent a few days at this great hotel in the historic center. The room was comfortable and very nice, though there was no heater and it had a bathtub instead of a shower. There's also a really good restaurant inside, with a discount for hotel guests. For a price similar to other places nearby, this one offered much better conditions than competitors usually do.

Hotel Bracara Augusta is a small, cozy place that blends its historic character with modern touches. It's very well situated and deserves another prize! The owners and staff are so kind to guests.
