I was back in Seia last week, riding solo from the UK, and was glad they had a room with its own bathroom free. It was clean, the air conditioning worked, the shower was great, and the balcony looked over the fountain and street. I checked in at reception downstairs, then an employee walked me a few doors along to the shop where the bookings are handled. She was friendly and sorted it out, and the few minutes it took were no bother. She also arranged secure bike parking behind the apartments, just as she had on my earlier visit. I first stayed here three years ago with a friend on a biking trip. We spent two nights and used Seia as a base for riding to Torre and the mountain roads nearby. This time I also spent a relaxed couple of hours outside Sei lá bar down the street, with some Super Bock and food. Both visits have been great, so this will stay on my list when I pass through. Highly recommend it.

The location in central Seia is good, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. The rooms were cold and quite damp, and the air conditioning barely worked. Cleaning wasn't especially good either, and the hand basin wasn't working. There are lots of stairs up to the main entrance, with no access for people with reduced mobility. The parking provided wasn't working well, either.

The attic room was cold, and its air conditioning was very weak. The bed linen was dirty and had traces left by previous guests, and there was rubbish in the bin. The kitchen utensils were dirty too. No toiletries were provided, not even shower gel or shampoo, and nobody ever answered the phone. If we'd needed urgent help, there'd have been no support. You can hear cars passing all night. The worst place we've stayed so far 😞

Wouldn't stay again, and I can't recommend it. Check-in is at a grocery shop at the end of the street, and there was no parking, so the car has to be left far away. The rooms were poor quality and extremely cold, tucked into the attic space. The extra bed we'd requested wasn't even minimally acceptable, and the air conditioning couldn't make up for the 2' temperature. One room's TV was broken. Whatever the price, it would've felt far too expensive.

We were welcomed warmly. The location is really good, and the facilities were excellent, from the shared kitchen to our room with a private bathroom.
