It was so hot, over 45 degrees, that the backyard was only usable after dark. The rooms have air conditioning, though, so we slept fine. We’d love to come back when it’s cooler. The bed and breakfast has a quirky, charming feel, the couple running it are very nice, and the quality is excellent for the price.

I had a really good two weeks here. Everyone was nice, and there’s a small market and an inexpensive place to eat nearby. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

I’m leaving this wonderful place in a couple of days, and I really, really recommend it. Casa de Serpa is an old, characterful house, and my room is at the back, with a porch where you can sit and enjoy yourself. The room is nice and comfortable, with its own bathroom. The owner and his wife are very friendly, and everything is super clean.

It feels like a home, with its old-fashioned, familiar character and little local crafts on the walls. The people are very friendly, and the house is spotless, with that fresh laundry smell inside and out. We had a fireplace going at night.

Breakfast was good, and the house is pretty and traditional. The lady was really nice and speaks French, though not English. She also knows good places to eat dinner. The mattresses were a bit rough, though.
