We’re both still looking forward to going back after such a great stay. Sandrine and Laurent made us feel at home right away, and the property itself is lovely. Our room had plenty of space, and we spent time on the patio reading, having a drink, or just enjoying the sun. The pool was looked after really well and was a great spot to switch off. Mornings started with homemade breakfast, plus a visit from their sweet dog and cat. Quinta do Penedo das Antas is a great base for anyone exploring central Portugal who also wants somewhere restful, whether for a night or a whole week.

I travel around Europe for work and have stayed in plenty of hotels, but Quinta de Penedo das Antas really stood out. Sandrine and Laurent were so kind and welcoming. They showed me around the beautiful property, though it wasn’t warm enough for me to try the pool. The care they put into the place is clear. My room was lovely, the bed was especially comfortable, and breakfast included fresh eggs from their chickens. It’s a quiet, beautiful spot for a holiday, and I’d suggest staying at least a couple of nights to enjoy the property and the peaceful area. I’d give it 6 starts out of 5. Thanks, Sandrine & Laurent, for the hospitality ☀️. I hope I can come back someday when I’m not working.

The cottage was small and adorable, set in a magnificent spot. The two hosts were lovely and friendly too. Thanks so much, I’ll be back!

The hosts were attentive, easy to reach, and always happy to help. Breakfast was excellent, with quality products, and there are lots of wonderful places to explore in the area around the Quinta. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived. The setting is magnificent and everything was impeccably clean, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it for a memorable visit.
