The ocean-facing room had a gorgeous view, the rooms were clean, and the reception staff were very polite. The hotel is pleasant, though dated. For the price of a four-star place, a few things disappointed me. Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were both cold and tasteless, and we told the restaurant staff each time. Nobody offered to help with our bags when they saw us struggling at the door. It’s right on the beach, which is lovely for relaxing, but there isn’t much else nearby on foot, and getting around to see sights may be difficult if hills or long walks are a problem. The garage is also tricky with a large vehicle, though that’s common in Europe. In my opinion, it wasn’t worth the price, but it’s a decent hotel by the water.

The beds were a big plus, and the rooftop pool was a nice addition. The hotel was clean, and the staff were kind and accommodating, from the cleaners and receptionists to the servers and cooks. Tomas at reception was especially personable. The location was spectacular, with a view you can’t beat. The downside is that the hotel feels dated, with carpet and a strange purple color in the rooms. It could use an upgrade. Even so, we had a great family vacation and would come back.

Tomás at the front desk was a legend. He moved us to a higher floor, and the sea view was incredible. The breakfast buffet was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooftop pool was really cool too. We had an amazing stay at Sana and would highly recommend it.

The staff were very nice and helped us book excursions, and the rooftop is lovely. Our sea-view room had a beautiful outlook, and the location is great. The rooms and hotel in general feel run down, though. The carpets, counters, and tables looked stained from decades of use. Apart from the location, I’d rate it closer to three stars based on the rooms.
