Arrabida Guest House

Maria was so kind and helpful throughout my stay, always around when I needed her and making sure things were taken care of. I also loved the breakfast, with fresh pastries, local items, fruit, yogurt, and other healthier choices. The guest house has only recently opened, and the stylish, cozy decor feels carefully put together. It’s comfortable and welcoming, and the location makes it easy to reach local sights and nearby essentials. I’d happily recommend it and would like to return.

Maria welcomed us and talked us through what we needed to know. She was a charming, very kind host. There were just two small things I mentioned that could be better: the parking and the noise from the air conditioning in our room. Even so, this neat, charming place has plenty going for it, and we still plan to return. Quality all around at Arrábida Guest House in Setúbal, Portugal.

The location worked really well, within walking distance of the city center and the good local restaurants. There’s also a small pool and garden where you can unwind. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, especially the bed, and the whole guest house is beautifully decorated with guests’ comfort clearly in mind. Our host was incredibly attentive and helpful.

We were there for two weeks, and we’re already going to miss Maria and her lovely guest house. She was such a gracious hostess. The nights were restful, breakfast was delicious, and the pool area was a nice place to relax when we wanted some downtime. Arrabida Guest House is beautiful and ideally placed for walking around Setubal, and the train station is also within walking distance for trips elsewhere in Portugal. We’re so glad we found it.
