Casas Buganvilia

We enjoyed our stay very much. The peaceful, beautiful grounds were well maintained, and our host was gracious and accommodating. Everything was just as advertised, and we couldn’t have asked for more.

The owner greeted us with useful information about the house and things to do nearby, including good restaurants. We even got vegetables from his garden during our stay. The house can sleep seven, though four people would need to use the mezzanine, so that setup is better for children. There’s one bedroom with a double bed, and the house is well equipped, with kitchen utensils, a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, capsule coffee maker, toaster and fridge. The towels and bed linen were very clean and smelled nice. Outside, you can take a small boat onto the natural water pool. Eucalyptus and fir trees surround the place, with the sea visible in the distance. The mornings and evenings bring wonderful scents, quiet and beautiful sunsets. It’s a lovely peaceful spot for nature, with covered parking as a bonus. Getting there means driving about 3 km on a dirt road. The only downside is there’s no TV. Prices are reasonable for the location.

A quiet rural house for anyone who likes nature and a bit of isolation, while still being close to all the amenities. It’s near Praia da Ilha do Pessegueiro. The owner built a natural pool where you can canoe, stand-up paddle and swim, and there’s also a small outdoor gym. A good place to relax.

The pond and pool area is lovely, but we were there with small children and it isn’t suitable for swimming, so I don’t think it should be advertised as a pool. Cleanliness could also be a little better. The large house itself is beautiful, with a relaxed, welcoming feel in a natural setting.
