The owner was friendly and knew the area well. He took me on a tour to point out where everything was. The kitchen was clean and well equipped with what you’d need, and the bedrooms were comfortable, though they could use a TV. There wasn’t much to do nearby, so you’d need transport to get around. Sintra is a historic town, though, and some beautiful beaches are close by.

There are lots of restaurants within walking distance. The place is peaceful, calm, and surrounded by lush greenery, with a feel of being close to nature. It’s far from central Lisbon, but near many tourist attractions in the area.

The rooms were decent, but breakfast and service were both very average. We couldn’t even get a glass of hot water when we asked for one. Being close to the palaces was the only real highlight.

A nice place overall, with a very clean, spacious room. You can park inside, or there are usually free spaces on the street.

The gardens are lovely, the room is modern, and the beds are comfortable. There’s free parking at the back and a nice breakfast buffet. The main attractions in Sintra are a short drive away. The bathroom could use some hooks.
