Flag Hotel Lisboa Sintra

The hotel is in an industrial estate and has very little to offer. Rooms are tiny, the furniture feels cheap, and there’s no hairdryer or kettle in the room. The curtains don’t block outside light properly, and the bedside lights never fully switch off. There’s just one tiny bedside table, so in a twin or double room only one person gets to use it. The lobby was very dirty, and breakfast was really basic. During our stay the whole hotel lost power one morning for about two hours. There were no contingency measures or backup supplies, and no apology. Staff only said it was a district problem. For a hotel that had opened less than a year earlier, this was really poor. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless your standards are very low and it costs less than €20 a night.

Clean rooms, friendly reception, and decent value. All good, though breakfast could be better.

The hotel was clean and nice, and the staff were very polite.

The bed is small!
