The hostess accommodated our late check-in and was very helpful with our questions. Breakfast was great, with lots of food. There’s no air conditioning in the rooms, but this is still a wonderful place to stay, with a beautiful location and amazing views.

The rest of the guest house seemed superb, with great views and a lovely breakfast. But the only room available was the economy one, and it showed signs of black mold and had only been superficially cleaned.

Breakfast on the terrace was good, with the same lovely view. We had the room with the best outlook toward the Palace and Castle in Sintra. There's a pool and a large garden. The room itself was a bit small and old-fashioned, with no AC, insect net, or TV. Flies and mosquitoes came in for visits. The private bathroom was huge, but separate from the room at the end of the hall.

I hope to return soon. The room was larger than I expected, and it was good value for what I paid. I had a warm welcome and good service throughout my stay, and breakfast was great. A very nice place to stay.

Breakfast was quite large and even included figs from the garden. The host welcomed me warmly and, during check-in, poured me a small glass of the best Port wine I've ever tasted. She also explained how to get around and suggested some amazing restaurants.
