Quinta da Côrte

The staff at Quinta da Corte were so accommodating when I proposed to my girlfriend there. They helped me choose a beautiful spot on the property, took photos, and made sure everything was just right. We loved the delicious food and wine, and the property itself is beautiful. The rooms were comfortable too. I'd happily recommend staying a night or more.

The tour and tasting with Xavier was the standout for us. He spent two hours answering all our questions, sharing his deep knowledge of the wine, and making us feel like family. We were welcomed warmly by everyone from the moment we entered the beautiful inn, and the hospitality made our time special. We stayed at Quinta Da Corte for two nights, and ended up cancelling our other dinner reservation in town after our first meal because we wanted to eat there again. The food was incredible, and the wine and port were beyond belief. Thank you Xavier, Anna, and the whole staff for such a great time in the Douro. Obrigado!

We had a fantastic night here. The three-course dinner was tasty and generous, and breakfast had a good range without being too much. Everything tasted really fresh and local. The interior has been thought through in every detail, from the rooms and kitchen to the book room. The infinity pool looks over the valley, though its natural spring water was very cold. Walking through the grape vines is something you won't forget.

The service left a lot to be desired. It felt as if children were in charge, with no one overseeing things. We had to track down staff several times when we needed help, and could hear them chuckling and laughing behind closed doors. They made us feel as though helping us was a favor. I usually leave positive reviews and don't like bashing businesses, but I wanted people to know before booking. The hotel itself is amazing, with absolutely amazing facilities, pool, and rooms.
