When our rental car broke down a few years back, we were stuck and ended up finding this lovely little hotel. Everything was spotless, from the corridors to the rooms. Some of the furniture is a bit old-fashioned, though still comfortable, and the upper-floor rooms are more modern, roomy, and look out over the river. The rates are modest, too. The owners are friendly and work hard all day, with the wife cooking tasty meals in the evening and making good snacks during the day. OBRIGADO. I really can't think of anything bad to say about the place.

I turned up and found it closed. A sign on the door says it only opens from April through November, but the website doesn't mention those dates.
