The kiwi yard in front of the property was a lovely feature for anyone who enjoys nature. We also found it easy to communicate, since everyone in the landlord’s family spoke English well, and they were welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. It really felt like a home away from home. We spent more than a month there during January and February 2026, with my daughter, son-in-law, and our seven-month-old granddaughter visiting from Sweden. The place was comfortable and cozy, with two spacious bedrooms, a walk-in closet, and a large living room. The kitchen and dining area were well equipped, and all the rooms connected to the swimming pool area. Wi-Fi was excellent. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the guest house to tourists.

It was clean and nicely furnished, but the apartment was short on basics. We stayed for 7 days with four people and got only 6 towels, and there was barely any dish soap, no sponge, and no sugar, so we had to buy those things on day one. As two couples sharing just one key, things were a bit complicated. The apartment itself was nice, though the busy road beside the building made it quite noisy at night.

We had a great family base for visiting Porto, and the house was well equipped with a private pool. The bus stop right in front takes you to a train station in the city center, about 30 minutes away. An Uber ride to the airport takes 15-20 minutes and costs 12-13 euros.
