We only stayed here because a business conference meant we couldn’t get a hotel in Evora, but what a find. The rooms are basic yet comfortable, and the setting surrounded by nature is lovely. It was very quiet during our stay, with just one other couple around. There’s an honesty box for soft drinks, beer, coffee, and more, plus a decent-sized pool that’s a treat on hot days. I’d definitely stay again.

A free electric car charger is a nice bonus, and the location in the middle of nature is perfect. The rooms and pool could use some care. A small fridge and a few cups in the room would be a big plus. At breakfast, some items ran out quickly and weren’t replenished. It’s a nice place, though the service could be more attentive.

The central pool and jacuzzi are priceless, especially with kids. Each slightly old-fashioned apartment has its own balcony and table, lovely for a meal or evening tea under the stars. The atmosphere is cozy and has that isolated Alentejo dolce fare niente feel. Breakfast was nice, with homemade items and croissants, and there are a few good restaurants five minutes away. I’d check the apartments for mosquitoes before guests arrive, since ours had some.

So peaceful and quiet, just the place to relax. I love the animals here, especially the cute horses, donkey, and goats. Great place, I love it!

A lovely pool and a really relaxing, secluded setting, still very close to a small town. The hosts are great.
