The meal delivery was a real surprise: a whole grilled fish with fingerling potatoes and roasted carrots arrived in a clay dish, and there was plenty of it. The nearby restaurant brings food without charging extra. The place itself is a stone farm built by the church in the 16th century, then sold to the family that still owns it in the 18th. Modern comforts have been fitted into the old building. There are two kitchens and two shared rooms, and the hospitaliero lights a fire on cold evenings.

Friendly host, great showers, and a good washer and dryer. The kitchens and sitting rooms are beautiful, and you can buy beer right at the albergue. There isn't much nearby, but a local restaurant delivers really good food. I never found the pool, though it was cool out anyway. Great albergue!

With so many five-star reviews, the place speaks for itself. Make the stop, this albergue was easily one of my top three over 700 km of hiking the Camino.

I could watch horses from my bed, and the place had cozy little corners everywhere. The rustic feel worked really well, and the man at reception was so welcoming. They had homemade cakes for sale, too. I ate a lemon muffin for breakfast with a sea view on my hike, and both the view and the muffin were fantastic. On the second-to-last day of my Camino, this was easily my best stay. Thanks for such a lovely visit!

In November on the Camino, this was the first albergue where I actually felt warm 🙂 The whole place has a nice atmosphere. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable, with plenty of shared spaces around. The host was kind and spoke English well.
