We had a great week, and the pool got used every day. The BBQ area is well equipped, and the property has plenty of room and high quality accommodation for our two teenage children and us. There are steps up to the pool and BBQ area, but they're well lit at night and have handrails. Viana do Castelo is a lively town with lots of restaurants. There's a great beach south of the river, and the roads make it easy to head east into the mountains or south to Porto.

The view from the pool is a real highlight, and everything you need for a great vacation is here. The hosts are very kind and supportive. We'd definitely recommend Casa de Serra and hope to come back.

A fruit platter and a few groceries were waiting in the fridge, so we felt at home straight away. The house was top-notch, and the instructions were clear. The keys were handed over right on time. We've rarely had such a friendly landlord.

Paulo and Patricia were so kind and helpful. The place was spotless, with great amenities and very comfortable beds. It's spacious and pleasant indoors and out. We had a wonderful holiday.

It feels like a real home, with all the comforts you'd want, and the house is clean, warm, quiet, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. It's a step above a simple place to stay. I'd really recommend it for a family, friends, or especially a stay with children.
