The incredible view deserves three stars, but the stay was disappointing. The four of us arrived with high expectations because of the reviews and photos, but unfortunately this house doesn't seem suited to winter. It was 6°C inside when we got there, and even with the air conditioning running, it took 24 hours to get the place minimally warm. We were absolutely freezing! There was no firewood available, and the hosts didn't offer any for sale. Since they knew guests were coming, they could have preheated the house, especially as the air conditioners can be controlled with basic apps. Water was dripping from the ceiling in every room. I've attached photos of the damage to the house. The kitchen also has no oven, despite the Airbnb listing saying it does. There was no hand soap in the bathroom, along with other small touches that could have made the stay more special.

The only issue was the weather. Otherwise, it has everything you need for a great vacation.

A beautiful house tucked into the forest, with incredible views across the valley and the Cávado River.
