There were only a few guests in January 2026, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Our room was nice and the bed comfortable, and one of the suites with a kitchen looked spacious when we saw it. The large hotel is being refurbished, though the pool was under reconstruction and the corridors needed new glass. It’s showing signs of work in progress.

The view was beautiful, and the staff were great. The rooms were clean, the beds were the most comfortable ever, and breakfast was amazing too!

Breakfast was good, and the breakfast staff were lovely. Whenever we asked for help, the issue got sorted. The reception staff were lovely too, and the barman was awesome, he has that extra something and should be running the hotel. The pizza was nice, and having the pool room, music, and bar at night was good. The view is lovely and the pool is lovely when it’s open. But the place initially feels like a 1970's English secondary school, and the rooms aren’t great, they need quite a bit of money spent on them. It looks like they’ve started investing in the hotel, but the bedrooms still seem to be waiting their turn.

After a whole day of travel, all I wanted was a bed. The hotel is starting to show its age and could use some TLC. I went to the front desk to ask for water because there wasn’t even a bottle in the room. They sent me to the bar to buy some. I don’t mean to sound cheap, but I’ve never stayed at a four-star hotel that supplied nothing. Plenty of three-star places I’ve been to provide water and bathroom amenities, and this one had neither.

The staff were so friendly, and the rooms were very clean. We asked a woman at reception if we could play ping pong, and when we came back she already had the racquets ready and handed them to us with a smile. Definitely recommend staying here, it was the best service I’ve ever had at a hotel.
