Right on the Caminho, so the location is handy. This B&B is in a 400 year old family home, run by the son, Luis. The price is very reasonable, and Luis and his girlfriend, who was helping out, were amazing. He gave every issue, big or small, his full attention. With no restaurants within walking distance, Luis arranged pizza delivery for any pilgrims who wanted to eat, set up a table for everyone and even made sangria. I also know he picked up pilgrims who were stranded, while his girlfriend, a nurse, helped with ailments like blisters. Laundry and breakfast were included in an already very fair rate.

Pilgrims can really rest and recharge here. The family's kindness and hospitality touched me first, then the lovely garden and the spots to sit and enjoy coffee. I slept well in a comfortable room, too. I'd like to come back even when I'm not on pilgrimage.
