So welcoming and warm. The place feels private and intimate, but also open and sociable. It’s peaceful and stunning, with a comfortable, practical feel. Everything is exceptionally well maintained, with thoughtful details throughout. Breakfast was perfect, and the honesty bar stocked with all kinds of drinks was a bonus.

The rooms are small and traditionally decorated, but the accommodation is attractive, with a good-sized pool and plenty of shared spots to relax on sun loungers. It’s a working agro-tourism resort in a beautiful part of the Algarve, supported by animal farming and growing fruit and vegetables on site as well as room rentals. The grounds are large enough for a nice walk while taking in the weather and scenery. I stayed in August 2019, and it was quiet and peaceful even though most, perhaps all, of the rooms were occupied. Breakfast was very good, with lots to choose from, though the same dishes were served each day. That worked for us, but might get repetitive if you stay more than a week. I’d stay here again if I were in the area.

The grounds are delightful, carefully laid out, and well kept, and the rooms are comfortable. The casa is splendidly decorated and well run. Breakfast had a really good selection, including superb local cheeses, fresh fruit, and orange juice squeezed that morning. It was a wonderfully relaxing stay. Would I come back? Definitely.

A quiet, unassuming place with clean, well-equipped rooms. The staff are helpful, though their English is limited. If you’re looking to relax, I can highly recommend it. The train station is just a five-minute walk away.
