Ana made us feel welcome right away, even with Portuguese custard tarts, and shared helpful tips on what to see. The old city and Porto cathedral are an easy, straight walk across the bridge. I really enjoyed my three nights here and would recommend it, especially if you’re on a budget.

The host is such a caring, lovely lady, and the location couldn’t be better. The place was clean throughout our fabulous stay. No complaints at all, highly recommend.

The place is simple and authentic, with a cozy, homey feel rather than anything fancy. We were treated like family, and the host shared great local tips. You might hear the tram go by now and then, but we had a lovely stay in a great location.
