The reception lady was very kind to us, two people travelling with a dog in a van. We found the campsite clean, with roomy, well-spaced pitches, and its location near the beach is good. There aren’t numbered spaces, so you can park wherever you like. The newer sanitary block at the far end was decent, and I’d use that one. The other facilities were extremely dated and mostly had squat toilets, which honestly horrified us. That was the main reason for our two stars. Around €40 felt far too much for what’s offered, and they charged extra for the dog too. That was a first for us camping on the west coast. In our view, being pleasant makes it more likely people will respond in kind :)).

The campsite itself is nice, but it costs a lot. The receptionist was unfriendly and arrogant, and gave us wrong information. She was the ugliest receptionist ever.

The supermarket was good and had convenient opening hours. The facilities were clean and pleasant, and the location was good too. Still, it felt pricey for one person with just an ordinary car.

We had such a good stay that we’ve already booked another trip for next month. Our long weekend was 9-12th May 2024, and the pine forest pitch had a lovely outlook. It was peaceful, with a nice atmosphere despite there not being many visitors, and we had no trouble getting to sleep. Our large tent, trailer and car all fitted on the pitch, and the electric hookup worked perfectly. Our daughters, 5 and 7, had a great time biking around, playing tennis, using the park and swimming. Everything was tidy and well cared for, and the bathrooms were cleaned each morning. The showers had lovely hot water after a few hours at the beach. We skipped the restaurant since dinner from 7:30 is a bit late for our girls. We did have a handmade cocktail at the bar, which was lovely, and came back another time for coffee and delicious homemade cake.
