The shared spaces and rooms are both lovely, and there’s a nice outdoor area to relax or hang out in. The kitchen has what you need, apart from a smoothie machine. Such a gem in Vila Real. I’d definitely stay here again if I return.

We had a double room with its own bathroom, and it was great. Everything was very clean, including the shared kitchen. The old mansion has been renovated really well. The room could’ve been a little bigger, but otherwise everything was fine.

Breakfast was great, so get it. I was worried about sharing with five other people, but the price made up for it, and there’s a curtain so you can screen yourself off from the rest of the room. I had the whole room to myself, though that could be different in season.

I felt as if I’d booked a suite. The receptionist explained and showed me everything perfectly. Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in!

A peaceful place to stay, day and night. The shared areas were beautiful and really impressive too. Everything was perfect for me, and I’ll definitely book again.
