Lisbon Serviced Apartments - Bairro Alto

When I had to change my flight, I asked well in advance to cancel my reservation and didn't get even one cent back. The people running the place respond to bad reviews with insulting nonsense instead of reflecting on them. People take time to leave a review because they feel it's deserved. It's a better idea to understand that.

Rita and Sophie were kind and helpful, and I'd stay here again. Our room was large for two, with a comfortable bed. It was quiet and in a great location. There wasn't AC, but the fan in the room worked well.

We only had two nights, and the room change made the second one less comfortable. The new room was smaller, which was fine, but the bed wasn't as good and noise from the shared bathrooms just outside our door got us up earlier than we'd wanted. In the first room the bed was good and the room itself was nice, though it smelled of mildew. We asked to move, but nothing else was available until the following day. I don't think we'd stay again.

The staff were so friendly that, even on my first trip, I didn't run into any difficulties. It gave me a good impression of Portugal. The breakfast was healthy and delicious, and the bed was especially clean and nice. I stayed in a small room, which felt cosy, though it wasn't as good or as clean as the picture. There were quite a few signs of the old building, but it was cleaned every day. Very accessible and affordable.
