The rooms have useful equipment, though they’re basic, and the air conditioning is a nice bonus. Beds are firm, and with windows facing the street there’s some traffic noise until late evening. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and a bidet. It’s a few minutes’ walk from the city center, or a short drive, though parking can be hard to find.

It’s quiet most of the time, clean, and has very good Wi-Fi and private parking. The downside was breakfast, which didn’t use quality ingredients, the TV, and a door slamming several times overnight. The place doesn’t look new and the decor isn’t very attractive, but it’s fine for a two-star hotel if you keep your expectations modest. Cheap and okay for a night.

Parking and good Wi-Fi were handy, and it’s about a ten-minute walk to the center of Vila Real. Fine for one night, though it could use some renovation. The TV didn’t work, and the bed felt a bit stiff and uncomfortable.

The room at the hotel was new, clean, and well equipped, and the staff were really nice. I’d recommend the hotel. The restaurant was another story: the food was bad, and I’m still feeling that sausage. I’d strongly suggest having dinner somewhere else.
