The rooms are great, the cleaning is top notch, and the location in Viseu is hard to beat. My only reservation is that the bathroom is shared by men and women. Even so, this is one of the best places to stay in town, and I really recommend it.

Finding Allgo hostel takes a little effort. The entrance is up a narrow staircase at the far end of the block, on the first floor. Once inside, though, it’s a lovely place: clean, comfortable rooms, a well equipped kitchen that’s fully usable, and helpful staff. Antonio, who was managing when we visited, even helped us find street parking nearby and carried some of our bags.

Antonio and the rest of the staff were so friendly and ready to help. The kitchen and shared space are really nice, and breakfast had a healthy variety. It feels comfortable and homely, with care put into the details. Thanks to everyone!

I spent a month here and didn’t find anything to complain about. The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and helped me a lot, and the location is really good. Definitely worth staying here.

We paid €34 for one night for two people, breakfast included. The room, sheets, toilets and showers were clean, and there’s free Wi-Fi. Breakfast was a simple continental one, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location in the citadel is awesome. Thank you 😀
