The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the neighborhood quiet. Jose, the hotel owner, was especially kind. I left my passport in a drawer when checking out and only noticed at the airport. I called Jose and said I would arrange a taxi, asking if he could hand the passport to the driver to bring it to me. He told me not to worry and brought it himself. I had it back within 20 minutes. I offered him money, but he wouldn't take it. Jose, if you're reading this, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I'm so grateful!

The rooms weren't clean and had dust everywhere, and what we saw was in bad condition. It was dark inside with no sunlight coming through, and the sound insulation was so poor we could hear people talking, locking doors and going to the toilet. The sitting room and balcony weren't presented as described on the site. You also have to pay the hotel tax in cash. Don't trust the Google reviews, they're absolutely spam. Judge from my photos, not me.

It was cheap, but not much fun. It did the job for a day or two, though three days was pushing it. I've stayed in some of Europe's finest hotels, and this place didn't reach the level of those six-star spots.

It worked well for our big group of friends. The place was nice, and public transport nearby made it easy to get around Lisbon.
