Casa da Escola

We booked at the last minute, expecting to stay just one night, but ended up staying two. The house is really well put together. Our room was lovely, clean, and a good size. The bed was very comfortable, and there was air conditioning, good soundproofing, and windows that made the room completely dark when closed. The bathroom had everything we needed: shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, a hairdryer, and towels. The shared kitchen, living room, and games room were all thoughtfully equipped down to the details. We had our dog with us, and weren't restricted from moving around with him as long as we respected the other guests. Everything went really well. I definitely recommend it and hope to return soon.

The room stayed hot even with the AC on, and the sound insulation was lacking. We could hear guests in other rooms walking around, showering, using the toilet, and talking.

The view is gorgeous and the facilities are great, but the Wi-Fi was very weak. From 8:30 on, only the heaviest sleepers can stay asleep.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, and I really enjoyed the stay. The room was lovely, and the location was excellent, tucked away in the peace of the countryside.
