Palau Hotel

I worked and took meetings from my room without trouble, since the WiFi was reliable there and in the lobby. The room was a good size, and the hotel felt modern and nicely designed. Breakfast choices were a little sparse but decent. Most of all, the staff were wonderful throughout my stay. They were kind, patient, helpful, and considerate with all the guests. I’d gladly stay here again.

The rooms were clean, kept in good shape, and had daily housekeeping. It was worth the price. The front desk team were amazing, especially Joy, Yssa, Genny, Eleen and Marielle. They were the friendliest and most helpful staff I’ve met, and did so much to make the stay memorable and just right. I’m very grateful I stayed here.

I stayed five nights and had a great time. The housekeeping team were really friendly and cleaned every day. Breakfast had plenty of options, and I got to meet the chief cook Norvin. The Filipino staff were all amazing and showed us such warm hospitality. The front desk team were incredible too. A big shout out to everyone.

The WiFi was dependable, so my husband could get some work done while we were away. We also liked having a cute coffee and gift shop downstairs for coffee and desserts, which gave us a change from the hotel breakfast. The staff were genuinely sweet, always smiling, and arranged our airport pickups and drop-offs. The central Koror location meant we could walk to most places and didn’t need a rental car. We rented one for a day to tour Babeldaob on our own, and there was free parking behind the hotel. Tour companies all knew Palau Hotel, so pickups were easy. We were there for five nights. It’s a no-frills place and decent value, but on our last night we found a small cockroach in the bathroom. We know warm climates have bugs, but it’s unpleasant to see one where you’ve spent hard-earned vacation money, and I worried about bringing something home. One nearby restaurant we’d avoid is Chapter One, which was a bad food experience. Our stay was good overall, but that last-night visitor put a damper on it.
