Start Villa Morra Rent Apartments

I can't return or recommend this place, despite its incredible location. I've stayed here and brought clients for about three years, and we've watched the building fall apart. I like the nearby supermarket and shopping mall, and liked bringing clients here so they could get a feel for living in Paraguay. But the condition of the apartments and management's treatment of me, despite my booking at least 200 hotel nights here each year, have been deeply disappointing. Every apartment seems to have serious issues: major water damage, mold in all the bathrooms, missing draperies that were never replaced, damaged baseboards left as they are, and air conditioning units that leak into the apartment. Water also comes in through many windows and some ceiling light fixtures, and the apartment I'm in now has water damage and mold. Around the building, the walls are disgusting and never cleaned, there are holes where TVs were removed from what appear to be all the bedrooms, and bugs on the floors and in wall corners are simply ignored. The poorly lit holes make it hard to open the manual room door. Internet outages happen regularly. On this trip I had no access for my first three days, and the hot water heaters also stop working. The place hasn't been cared for and has frankly turned into a dump. They don't seem to care about the building's condition or guest comfort. Manager Rodrigo is ill-suited to the job.

The staff were fantastic throughout our stay, and the communal pool and BBQ area were spacious, clean, and well kept. Having a concierge available 24/7 was another real benefit. The flat is in central Villa Morra, close to amenities, and the facilities matched the advert apart from a couple of details. The advert mentioned a washing machine in the kitchen, but the laundry facilities are communal and have to be booked at reception in advance. The flat felt quite plain, with bare white walls, so a little more décor would help. A coffee table on the balcony would be nice too. There was an iron but no ironing board, and bedside lamps would have been useful. Still, it was a comfortable stay in a great location.

Everything seemed perfect until a big section of the patio ceiling fell. It could have killed someone walking to their room. Repairs took two months, and the staff were lazy about it. I had to clean up the dust myself, even after asking many times. The girl at reception and the cleaners ignored me.

It's okay for the price, but the room lighting really bothered me. There was no bedside lamp, just one very harsh, bright light, and when I asked for a lamp, they couldn't help.
