The breakfast had loads of fresh, tasty options, and the staff were so kind and ready to help. We felt at ease straight away, even arriving in the middle of the night. Our room was lovely and unusual, with an iron, minibar, and television, and the bathroom and shower were roomy and well designed. The pool was a highlight too, heated and sunny all day. The hotel sits in a lovely souq with plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and stores, and it's about 20 minutes from Doha. We chose it for our first Qatar visit and absolutely loved it. We rented a car through DiscoverCars, which was worth it, and the valet parked it every day and brought it back whenever we needed it. We'll definitely come back on our next trip to Qatar.

The pool area was a real highlight, and the hotel itself is beautiful, well kept, and relaxing. We were very comfortable here as a family, and the place is especially family and child friendly. Breakfast had a wide, high-quality selection with something for everyone. Every member of staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. Housekeeping cleaned the room thoroughly each time, and the team were kind and professional. We highly recommend Souq Al Wakra Hotel and would happily return.

Having the beach right by the hotel was wonderful, and the souk is a lovely place to get a drink in the evening, with plenty of restaurants for dinner. Uber taxis are easy to find for a trip to Doha if you need one. The stay was perfect, and the spa massages were great. I recommend the Balinese massage with Donnar or Nim. Thoroughly recommend.

The service made the biggest impression. It was my birthday, and they had set up the room so beautifully. Everyone who came to pick us up from our rooms wished me happy birthday, which made the stay so memorable. The hotel feels like a little hideaway, with golf carts to take us around, right between the souq and the beach. It was quiet and comfortable, the rooms and beds were beautiful and comfortable, the pool was clean, and breakfast was superb. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Doha who wants to stay away from the main tourist areas.

The staff were pleasant and helpful, and Ali, Shamseena, Colin, Willy, and Peter made my short visit really memorable. The rooms are spread across several buildings that were part of the original seafaring village, as shown in the video. There's a beautiful public beach close by, along with a masjid, also shown in the video. The hotel went beyond what I expected.
