Al Fakhama Plaza Hotel Apartment

The concierge and room cleaning staff were nice, but the people at the front desk were rude. The Wi-Fi didn't work, and there was no hot water. When I asked for a refund, they called the police and claimed I hadn't paid them, saying I paid a third party. This hotel is run by awful people. Horrible, avoid it.

Please believe me, you don't want to stay here. We left without a refund, and they don't care if a one-year-old baby has to shower in cold water. The hot water didn't work at all. Each time I asked when it would be fixed, they said in a couple of hours. I put up with it the first day, then asked for a refund on the second day and they refused. I booked through booking.com and regret it so much. I'm from uk, and felt they showed no respect. They called the police and accused me of calling a staff member a liar, even though I have messages from that staff member saying the water would be ready by tomorrow. She then said she never sent that. It was outrageous. They are scamming people, and the reviews are all fake. Worst hotel of my life. Do not BOOK!

The AC didn't work in Qatar's heat. They moved me to another room, but the heat still didn't work there. I asked the front desk to change rooms again and never heard back. With my flight less than four hours away, I ended up sleeping in.

I only found out when I arrived that there was no wifi and the TV didn't work. I'd booked four nights, so that was unacceptable. It gave me a lot of headaches and ruined my trip.
