Being right inside the terminal made everything easy, with everything just steps away. Oryx Hotel at Qatar Airport was a welcome break between long flights. The room felt very clean and premium, like a little escape from the airport rush. I could relax, reset, and get ready for the next leg without any stress.

Before heading back to Atlanta, I spent a night here to catch up on sleep after jet lag. The hotel was beautiful, and my room was a good size, with a king bed and a shower. There was also access to the indoor pool. I'd definitely stay again and recommend it to friends and family.

We deliberately picked a later flight connection and ended up with a 10 hour layover. From the plane, it was an easy trip to the hotel inside the airport and beyond security, so there was no need to clear customs or go through security again. We also avoided paying the $27. The room was very nice, with a comfortable bed and a great shower. I got about seven hours of sleep, then went downstairs in the morning for tea at Harrods, one of the world's best-known tea spots. The hotel is right beside the big yellow bear at the airport's central hub, and one floor up there's a fitness center, pool, and golf simulator. The simulator costs extra, but it was worth it with time to spare. We could have rushed to catch our original connection, but taking the later option made a 22 hour flying trip into 31 hours. It was worth it for a chance to sleep, shower, and relax before the next leg home. We'll consider a long layover here again.

A handy place for an overnight stop before a long flight. The staff were quick and professional, and the rooms were thoughtfully designed. The air conditioning was just right, and the mattress and bedding were soft and clean. It costs a bit more, but I thought it was worth it for a proper rest.
