The spa was the cherry on top, with lovely facilities and skilled masseuses who left us relaxed. Each morning's food was lovely, with a huge range of choices. The pool was always watched by a kind lifeguard, who brought water out so everyone would be comfortable and safe. There was a wedding during our visit, and they warned us there could be some disruption, but we didn't notice any. The staff were very friendly and helpful. One of my best stays in a long time.

Joseph from the valet team was the one bright spot. He was professional and kind, and tried to calm things down when I was understandably frustrated. After two disappointing stays, I won't give this hotel another chance. My first visit was soon after it opened, when it wasn't busy. Service was very slow, the air conditioner didn't work properly, and the bed wasn't clean when I arrived, but I decided to try again. For the second stay, I booked a two-bedroom apartment for a small special occasion. The booking was confirmed a month ahead, and I asked for early check-in well in advance and again the day before. I arrived at 2:30 PM and was told the apartment needed another 45 minutes, even though check-in was at 3:00 PM. My hairstyling team arrived at 3:00 as arranged but had to wait because there was no room. I got a temporary room, but the apartment wasn't ready until almost 4:00. It threw off my preparations, delayed the beauty team and affected my guests' arrival, leaving me unprepared for the event and stressed. Checkout brought another wait for luggage help, with response times far below what I'd expect from a hotel in this category.

The staff helped us feel safe and at ease during an unprecedented time. When we were running low on medication, they even contacted a pharmacy for us. Sundar jirel deserves a special thank you for making sure we were comfortable and reassuring us that we'd be safe. I can't remember everyone's names, but we're grateful for the kindness and hospitality from everyone at Andaz. It was one of our best experiences.

We loved the people, the food, and the spectacular sea view from our room. The front desk team was super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast staff, including Farhan, Alonzo, Josept and the others, were incredible. I'd only ask for a little more protein at breakfast, but that's a minor thing. I'd definitely come back if I get the chance.
