Hotel Century Hotel

The room was perfect, and the hotel itself was very nice and clean. The staff were kind and helpful. My complaint is about the extra excursion package we bought for $250 USD: a desert drive and city tour with guides. Since we had a 12-hour layover, a staff member showed us a brochure to encourage us to book. It clearly said the price included a “camel ride and falcon picture.” After we paid, we were told the camel ride wasn’t included and would cost another $50-60 USD approximately. That was disappointing, since nobody mentioned the extra cost beforehand. We were told the falcon photo was included, but when the excursion began there was no falcon. The desert guide said the package only covered the dune drive, followed later by the city tour with another guide. The activities were interesting and the idea was good, which makes it a shame. For my girlfriend and me, the camel ride was the main thing that caught our attention in the presentation, and it simply wasn’t there. There was no tea either, as mentioned, though that wasn’t the main issue. What the package includes should be explained clearly and honestly before payment.

The location is the best thing about this hotel, and the price compares well with more expensive places. Everything else is excellent too, especially the staff. Mr. Al Adin from laundry is very friendly and does his job amazingly.

Judy at reception is kind and friendly, and greets me with a warm smile whenever I come in. She’s calm, professional, and ready to help, which makes the whole place feel better. The hotel overall is really good too, well organized, with great service.

The food wasn't so bad, and the service was exceptional. My room was clean and had everything you’d need in a hotel room. I could walk to The National Museum of Qatar since it was close by. I really enjoyed the stay, and I know which hotel I’ll choose next time I’m in Qatar.
