Corp Executive Hotel Doha Suites

I want to share what happened during our stay. My team and I booked one room for a year-end gathering and paid the extra QAR 200 visitor charge under the hotel policy. The staff knew from the start that we’d have visitors. We checked in at 6:00 PM, and they arrived around 12:00-1:00 AM. Our room was next to the fire exit and electrical room. While we were in the living room, reception called to say a neighboring guest had complained about noise. We apologized straight away and moved into the bedroom to keep the noise down. Not long after, they called again, saying there was another complaint and the police would be called if we didn’t check out. We were shocked. They simply told us to leave instead of offering a fix, like moving us to another room. We’d paid in full in advance, followed the visitor policy, and had only been there about four hours. Since the hotel knew visitors were coming, putting us beside a family with children seemed unreasonable if noise was a concern. Better room assignment and customer service could have prevented this. The whole situation showed poor customer care and professionalism, and the service was very disappointing.

Inside, the hotel feels surprisingly welcoming, with bright spaces, clean rooms, and decent amenities. From the street, though, it looks like a basic corporate executive hotel, and the surroundings don’t feel executive at all. Parking is limited, the neighborhood is rough, and the place has little curb appeal. It’s almost two different worlds.

We left the same night we arrived. The place was old, dirty, and poorly maintained, from the fridge and bins to the doors and bathroom floors. It definitely didn’t feel like a 4-star hotel. The location is in an old, run-down part of Doha.

It was a mixed bag. Friendly staff and helpful reception, plus good-sized suites with basic comforts and decent value, especially for families or longer stays. But some guests mentioned cleanliness problems, odors, and dated rooms and amenities.
